This Privacy Policy describes how Kropp ("we", "our", or "us"), developed by Portia Apps & Games, collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Kropp mobile application (the "Service").

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT & DEVICE PERMISSIONS

1.1 Media & User-Generated Content (Processed Locally)

Kropp is a video editor and voice-over recording application. All media files, including:

• Videos recorded or imported from your device gallery
• Audio and voice-over recordings captured using the microphone
• Video thumbnails, waveforms, and edited projects

are processed and stored locally on your device. We do not upload, host, or transfer your personal video or audio creations to our servers.

1.2 Device Permissions

To provide core editing and recording functionality, the app may request access to:

• Camera: To record video clips directly within the application.
• Microphone: To record voice-overs and audio for your video projects.
• Photos / Storage: To import media from your gallery and save rendered/exported video files to your device.

1.3 Analytics and Diagnostic Data

We use third-party analytics and diagnostic tools to understand app usage and improve stability. These services may collect technical metadata such as:

• Device model, operating system version, and system language
• Anonymous user identifiers and app interaction events
• Crash logs, stack traces, and error reports

1.4 Purchase and Subscription Information

If you purchase a subscription or unlock premium features, in-app transactions are securely handled by the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and our purchase management provider (RevenueCat). We do not collect or store your payment details or credit card information.

2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use the information collected to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain video and audio editing features
• Manage project autosaves, undos, and export workflows locally
• Process subscriptions and manage access to Pro/Premium features
• Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot app performance and crash reports

The app integrates third-party services that may collect information used to identify you in accordance with their respective privacy policies:

4. DATA RETENTION & SECURITY

Your media projects, cache files, and settings remain stored on your local device until you delete them or uninstall the app. We implement commercially reasonable security standards to protect all diagnostic and configuration data. However, please note that no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take immediate action.

6. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. You are advised to review this page periodically for any updates. Changes are effective immediately upon posting to this page.
